Kick-off Event

In 2021, the first "German-Chinese Hospital Days" took place as a hybrid event. Around 200 participants enjoyed a stimulating exchange and interesting discussions. In Germany, the event was broadcast live from the studio in Berlin. At the in-person event in China, participants attended on site in Guangzhou.

Focus Topic of the Congress

The main theme of the congress was Traditional Chinese Medicine. From pain medicine to the treatment of COVID-19 patients – all this and much more was covered at the event, as was how effectively integrative treatment with acupuncture and herbs can help.

Representatives in Discussion

Representatives from business, politics and the healthcare sector discussed the "Current Findings in Traditional Chinese Medicine". Detlef Cwojdzinski (former head of the crisis management team at the Berlin Health Administration) reported on the impact of the pandemic on German hospitals.

Congress Programme

The first day focused on hospital management against the backdrop of the pandemic situation in both countries. On the second day, the emphasis was on integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine into the treatment process in Chinese and German hospitals. Following the specialist presentations, the speakers were available for international exchange and answered questions from the audience.
