Projects

Through a range of projects and initiatives, we promote exchange between Germany and the People's Republic of China in the fields of hospital management, healthcare facilities and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

iSÜV – Integrative Cross-Sectoral Care Facilities

How can hospitals, rehabilitation, long-term care and outpatient services be more closely integrated – while systematically factoring in prevention?

With the project iSÜV – integrative cross-sectoral care facilities, DCG-Health is presenting an innovative approach to the further development of healthcare in Germany.

The idea for the project arose from German-Chinese professional exchange: inspired by a visit from a hospital delegation from Guangzhou to one of the oldest hospitals for naturopathy and integrative medicine, in Essen-Steele, it became clear how much potential integrative medical concepts hold for cross-sectoral structures. With their range of medical and nursing services, iSÜVs are ideally placed to link acute medicine, rehabilitation, long-term care and prevention more closely.

The central conceptual reference point is a fundamental principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine: preventing illness from arising in the first place wherever possible, identifying functional weaknesses at an early stage and strengthening them in a targeted way. In the iSÜV project, this preventive understanding is combined with evidence-based naturopathic and conventional medical approaches and adapted to the framework of the German healthcare system.

The project aims to develop concrete care models for cross-sectoral facilities that are medically sound, organisationally feasible and economically viable.

Benchmarking & Data Analysis

Key performance indicators, benchmarks and data-driven decision-making – with a view to the structures of both healthcare systems.

DCG-Health has many years of experience in the German-Chinese healthcare sector and in the analysis of hospital and healthcare provision data. We support partners in Germany and China in developing key performance indicators, benchmarks and data-driven foundations for decision-making – always taking into account the differing structures of the two healthcare systems.

Example: Introduction of standardised data collection and quality-oriented benchmarking at a Chinese hospital, based on the German model.
