3rd International German-Chinese Hospital Day (MEDICA)

DCG-Health GmbH, together with Gesellschaft Deutscher Krankenhaustag mbH and the Deutsch-Chinesische Wirtschaftsvereinigung e. V. (DCW), is organising the 3rd International German-Chinese Hospital Day on 19 November 2026 as part of the German Hospital Day (Deutscher Krankenhaustag) at MEDICA Düsseldorf.

In conjunction with the Hospital Day, a Chinese delegation will visit German hospitals, research institutions and cooperation partners. The focus will be on direct professional exchange and on developing and deepening concrete German-Chinese partnerships in the fields of hospital management, digitalisation and AI, medical technology and robotics, nursing, prevention, and Traditional Chinese Medicine and integrative care.

The 3rd International German-Chinese Hospital Day brings together hospitals, academia, companies, associations and other stakeholders from Germany and China. At the same time, the German-Chinese Health Innovation Hub is set to be developed further as a permanent platform for exchange and cooperation between the healthcare systems of both countries.

The programme concludes on 20 November with the 6th German-Chinese Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine in Essen.
