From 10 to 14 September 2026, a German delegation will travel to Guangzhou and Beijing. The trip builds on the successful ‘Experience Chinese Medicine’ exchange series and broadens the focus to current developments in the Chinese healthcare system.
The key topics are hospital management, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, Traditional Chinese Medicine and integrative care, and the further development of specific German-Chinese cooperation projects.
In Guangzhou, the delegation will visit the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, one of China's leading TCM hospitals. Hospital tours and expert discussions will provide insights into integrative care models, clinical practice, research and hospital development.
In Beijing, the delegation will attend the Capital International Medical Conference of the Chinese Hospital Association. Around 3,000 national and international participants are expected to discuss topics such as hospital development, medical AI, innovation and global health.
